During 1988 -1989 the Artist visited Italy as a Boise Scholar her work with Disney on 'Who framed Roger Rabbit' as well as interest in the Renaisance influenced the body of works that she created on her return.
She started her business with an Enterprise Allowance Scheme Grant and met Mark St John whilst on the way to one of her monitoring meetings with the scheme. During this period the artist also continued to work on animations such as 'The Lion the Witch & the Wardrobe' adaptation as well as 'Grandpa'....the reality of the recession made art sales disappointing.
She also contributed to TVC's : ‘The Tales of Narnia’ for the BBC

The art work from that period was in part undertaken in her then husband’s studio ( Matthew Freeth) at Carpenters Road,at which she also participated in the Whitechapel Open-Studios
in the Autumn of 1988 as well as having a one woman exhibition at 'The Basement Recording Studios' and participating in the inaugural exhibition at the Roughler Gallery in Portobello Road.She also painted a backdrop for a ‘Naitivity play’ at the Tabernacle, Notting Hill December 1988.
During 1989 she worked on 'The Angel & The Soldier Boy '.
